We were recently called out to a property with a blocked drain causing drainage issues. After carrying out a dye test, we confirmed the affected line and quickly found the culprit… baby wipes!
Although many wipes are labelled as “flushable“, they don’t break down like toilet paper and can easily build up inside your drains, leading to stubborn blockages and costly repairs.
Our team safely cleared the blockage, retested the system, and got everything flowing freely again.
A quick reminder—only the 3 Ps should go down your toilet:
Pee
Poo
(Toilet) Paper
Everything else belongs in the bin!

We recently attended an emergency drainage callout after a severe blockage caused wastewater to back up into the property, leaving the customer unable to use both their toilet and kitchen sink.
Our team responded quickly and carried out a full investigation to locate the cause of the issue before safely clearing the blockage and restoring the drainagesystem back to normal.
To ensure everything was operating correctly after the work was completed, we carried out a dye test to confirm the drains were flowing properly and that the problem had been fully resolved.
Drain emergencies like this can escalate very quickly, which is why we always aim to provide a fast, reliable response to minimise disruption and prevent further damage to the property.

Drainage System Repaired with Trenchless Sleeve Technology
We recently completed a trenchless sleeve repair for a customer after identifying a displacedjoint within their drainage system that was causing ongoing issues with the pipework.
Using specialist CCTV equipment, our team located the damaged section and recommended a trenchless repair solution to restore the integrity of the drain without the need for major excavation.
A drain sleeve was carefully installed internally to seal and reinforce the affected area, creating a smooth and secure repair while keeping disruption to the property and surrounding ground to an absolute minimum.
Trenchless repairs are a fantastic solution for many drainage issues as they can often avoid the need for costly digging, damaged landscaping, or large-scale groundworks while still providing a strong, long-lasting repair.
Once completed, the system was fully tested to ensure everything was flowing correctly and operating exactly as it should. Another happy customer and another drain back in perfect working order

CCTV Drain Survey Completed for a Home Buyer in Lea
We recently carried out a full CCTVdrain survey for a customer purchasing a property in Lea, helping give them peace of mind before moving forward with their new home purchase.
Using specialist CCTV survey equipment, our team completed a detailed inspection of the underground drainage system to assess the condition of the pipework and identify any hidden issues that may not be visible during a standard property viewing.
Drainage problems such as cracks, root ingress, collapsed sections, poor connections, or existing blockages can often go unnoticed until after moving in — which is why a professional drain survey can be an important part of the home buying process.
Once the inspection was complete, we provided the customer with a clear report outlining our findings and any recommendations, allowing them to make an informed decision with confidence.
Whether you’re buying a new home, experiencing recurring drainage issues, or simply want to check the condition of your drains, we’re always on hand to help across Lea and the surrounding areas.
