Commercialdrainage issue identified — action plan in place.
We attended a commercial property experiencing ongoing drainage problems and carried out a full system inspection. The cause was clear: a significant mass of tree roots had infiltrated the pipework across the drainage network.
Root ingress can enter through joints and small cracks, expanding over time and restricting flow throughout the system.
We’ve completed the initial works to restore safe operation, and we’ll be returning to carry out full root removal to protect the pipework and prevent the issue from recurring.

Our team recently attended a job where a drain had collapsed due to tree root intrusion — something we see quite often and, if ignored, can cause major drainageissues and potential damage to the property.
After completing a detailed inspection, we removed the root growth, carried out repairs to the affected pipework, and fully restored the drainage system to proper working condition.
Signs like slow-draining water, gurgling sounds, or strong odours can sometimes point to more serious problems below ground. Tree roots are a frequent cause of hidden pipe damage.

We were called out to a blocked drain that turned out to be caused by tree root ingress.
Roots had forced their way into the pipework, restricting flow and causing ongoing issues — we removed the roots and fullycleared the drain, restoring normal flow
Tree root ingress is a common cause of repeat blockages if left untreated.
If you’re experiencing slow drains, bad smells, or recurring problems, it’s worth getting it checked.

We were recently called out to deal with external flooding caused by a major build-up of fats, oils, and grease (FOG) in the drainage system. Over time, FOG can solidify and create serious blockages — and that’s exactly what happened here!
Our team cleared the blockage and restored proper flow, preventing further water damage and getting things back to normal.
Reminder: Never pour fats, oils, or grease down the sink — they may go down as a liquid, but they harden fast and cause real problems!
